Amir Arison (born March 24, 1978) is an American film, television and theatre actor.

Career

Arison is an American actor of Israeli descent. He began his acting career in theatre starring in "Omnium Gatherum" [1] and "Modern Orthodox." [2]

He was part of the off-broadway show Aftermath.[3]

In 2009, he was part of the Sunshine Series.[4] He has appeared in many plays over the years.

Television

He began his television career in 2003 as an extra on the soap opera Guiding Light. He appeared in several more soaps over the years, including As the World Turns, where he played an FBI Agent. He had a recurring role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Dr. Manning and made special guest appearances in series like Fringe, NCIS, Medium, and State of Georgia. In 2010, he was cast in TBS' "In-Security."[5]

In October 2011, he made guest appearances on Homeland as Prince Farid Bin Abbud for 2 episodes.[6] The following month, he made a guest appearance on an episode of American Horror Story.[7]

After several more guest appearances on Gossip Girl, True Justice, and The Mentalist, he was cast in Bryan Singer's digital series H+ as Dr. Gurveer.[8] In late 2012, he signed on for a recurring role on ABC's Zero Hour.[9]

In October 2013, he began a recurring role in NBC's The Blacklist.[10]

Films

Arison made his big-screen debut in Day Zero in 2007. He was also cast in the 2007 American immigration film The Visitor.[11] He later appeared in Anamorph, I Hate Valentine's Day, and Today's Special. In 2012, he was cast in the American comedy horror film Vamps. In 2013, he was cast in the comedy A Friggin' Christmas Miracle.
