Aminagar Sarai is a town and a nagar panchayat in Baghpat district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Aminagar Sarai had a population of 15,255. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Aminagar Sarai has an average literacy rate of 59%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 61% of the males and 39% of females literate. 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
It has many resident doctors besides few hospitals. In education, it hosts many schools and one Degree College; it also has a B.Ed. college and engineering college in the vicinity.
Related to the religious harmony that it boasts, three Hindu Temples, two Balmiki temples, few mosques, a Jain Digamber temple and a Jain Shwetamber Temple are there in the town. It has a charitable hospital named 'Shantilok Hospital'.
