Amerila bubo is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Walker in 1855. It is found in Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.[1]
The larvae feed on Erythroxylum coca, Bridelia, Erythrina, Ficus congensis, Musa sapientum, Coffea and Solanum species.
