'America' is a song by English indie rock band Razorlight, and is the fourth track to their self-titled second studio album, Razorlight (2006). It was written by Johnny Borrell and Andy Burrows (credited to Borrell, Burrows, and Razorlight) and was also released as the second single from that album in October 2006.
It became the band's first number-one single in the United Kingdom. The single was the UK's seventeenth best selling single of the year. The song also peaked at number six in Ireland, number nine in the Netherlands, #10 in New Zealand, #17 in Austria, #21 in Belgium, #22 in France, #29 in Switzerland, and #38 in Germany.
