Ambrosio Boccanegra

Ambrosio Boccanegra (died 1373) was an Italian nobleman born in the Republic of Genoa, Italy, who served as a Castilian admiral in the service of the Crown of Castile during the Hundred Years' War. He commanded the Castilian-French forces in their defeat of the English at the Battle of La Rochelle in 1372.[1]
