Amberley Lobo (born 30 October 1990[1]) is an Australian television presenter best known for her role as a host on Australian children's television program Studio 3, which is on ABC3.[2]

Personal life

Amberley was born in Western Australia to Brazilian immigrants. Her television career began in 2009 after she was selected from a nationwide search conducted by the ABC.[3] Amberley graduated from Rossmoyne Senior High School in Perth, Western Australia in 2007 and joined the West Australian Police Force where she worked as a Police cadet.[3] She then attended Curtin University where she studied journalism. Amberley was crowned Face of Perth 2008.[3]

Career

In 2009 the ABC launched a nationwide campaign called Me On 3, which was looking for fresh personalities to become the face of a new digital kids channel, ABC 3.[4] The competition was entered by over 5700 people Australia-wide.[3] Amberley was selected along with Kayne Tremills to host children's show Studio 3. She worked on the 2010 Schools Spectacular with her co-host Kayne Tremills and John Foreman. Amberley Lobo guest hosted The Loop in mid-2013. In 2014 Amberley presented a show on CBBC called Pop Slam! and she also presents in the CBBC Office in the summer.
