Amber Sweeney is an American musician, singer and song writer.

Career

Sweeney learned to play the guitar at the age of seven and began singing with her church youth group at twelve. By fifteen, Sweeney was singing and playing bass with the group, No Supastar, on their independent album 180. She recorded her first solo album, Today Or Yesterday, independently at the age of 18.

From 2001 to 2005 Sweeney played bass guitar and sang back-up for the rock band Enation. During her time with Enation, she recorded Identity Theft and played numerous live shows, including a West Coast tour to benefit OxFam America for the Tsunami Victims of Southeast Asia.

In 2005 Sweeney went back to being a solo act, writing and recording music as a solo artist and singing in church services, concert halls, and coffee houses. Sweeney is currently enrolled in the Worship Arts Conservitory, a school for worship, and continues to lead worship from her hometown of Vancouver, WA and abroad.[1]

Everly

In 2008 Sweeney teamed up with her lifelong friend Bethany Joy Galeotti to form the band Everly. This duo has since split, announced on Joy Lenz's Twitter/Who Say account. They will no longer be making music.
