Amaras (Armenian: Ամարաս) is a village in the Hadrut Province of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, de facto, and a village in the Khojavend Rayon of Azerbaijan de jure. Amaras is the site of the Amaras Monastery, one of the oldest in Nagorno Karabakh.
This village is in an area controlled by the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
