Alycia Jasmin Debnam-Carey (born 19 July 1993)[1] is an Australian actress. She is known for Into the Storm (2014), The Devil's Hand (2014),[2] and The 100 (2014).
Debnam-Carey has also appeared in the TV series, Galyntine,[3] Martha’s New Coat,[4] McLeod's Daughters,[5] Dream Life,[6] Next Stop Hollywood,[7] and The 100. On December 1, 2014, it was announced that Debnam-Carey had been cast as Ashley, one of the lead roles, in the AMC series Fear the Walking Dead, the official companion series to The Walking Dead.[8] Debnam-Carey portrayed 'Lexa' in the second season of the CW's The 100.[9]
Personal life
Debnam-Carey graduated from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in 2011 where she was a percussionist. In 2010, in partnership with the Berlin Philharmonic, she and around 40 other musicians worked together, composed a piece together in a two week program.[10]
