Alvis Sporting Club Football Club are a football club based in Coventry, West Midlands, England. They were established in 1928, and currently play in the Midland League Division One. Their reserve team play in the Coventry Alliance League and for the 2014-15 season for the first time they will enter a youth team into the Midland Youth Floodlight League. Many improvements have been made in recent times to their ground including installing floodlights. However for the upcoming season the youth team will play home games at Coventry University and the senior team will ground share with Southam United.

History

The club joined the Midland Combination in 1993 and remained there until 2001 when they took the decision to withdraw from the league. They rejoined a couple of years ago and reached the Premier Division in 2013.

Youth set-up

The club has one of the biggest junior sections in Coventry with 19 teams as of the 2013-14 season entered in the Coventry minor league. These teams are based alongside the first team at Alvis Sports and Social club or at Finham Park Secondary School which is on the other side of Green Lane.
