Alt.Latino is a NPR Music's web-based program about Latin Alternative music and Latino culture, hosted by Jasmine Garsd and Felix Contreras. It features music as well as interviews with many of the most well-known Latino musicians, actors, film makers and writers.
Hosts
- Felix Contreras[1][2] - He is from Mexican American family of California. Previously, Contreras was a producer and reporter for NPR's Arts Desk.He's also a part-time musician who plays Afro-Cuban percussion with various jazz and Latin bands.
- Jasmine Garsd[2][3][4] - She is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since the fall of 2013, she is based on Mexico as a reporter and journalist. Then she returned to USA as of February 2015.[5]
