Alok Mehta (आलोक मेहता) is a pioneer of Indian Hindi journalism.

Information

He is editor-in-chief of Governance Now. He has been a President of the Editors Guild of India.[1] His 40 years in journalism career make a wide range of experience. He has worked in many prestigious media house like, The Times of India group, Hindustan Times group and Outlook group. He also worked in Deutsche Welle' in Germany. He wrote several books in Hindi and English and traveled about forty countries.

His is known for the popular book Bharat Me Patrakarita published by National Book Trust India which gives an overview of Indian journalism.
