Allen Lowell Shields

Allen Lowell Shields (7 May 1927 New York – 16 September 1989 Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA) was an American mathematician who worked on measure theory, complex analysis, functional analysis and operator theory.

Notable students

Professor Shields supervised the 1967 PhD thesis of Theodore Kaczynski titled "Boundary Functions".
