Aljaž Struna (born 4 August 1990 in Piran) is a Slovenian football defender/midfielder player currently playing for Carpi on loan from Palermo. He is the younger brother of Andraž Struna.
Club career
Struna started his career at FC Koper, where he played from 2009 to 2012 and quickly established as a starter.
On 21 May 2012, FC Koper confirmed to have sold Struna to Palermo, for €300.000.[2] In the summer he moved on loan to Varese in the Italian Serie B, with an option for his new club to acquire 50% of his transfer rights by the end of the season.[3]
International career
Struna was a Slovenia U21 member.
