Alister Smart

Alister Smart (born 1935) is an Australian television director ( Sons and Daughters, Richmond Hill, Prisoner etc.) He is also a noted actor having appeared in many productions, he had a prominent role in the film version of soap opera (Number 96), however remains best known as one of the original presenters on the Australian version of the pre school children's programme, Playschool from the mid-1960s until the 1990s.^[1]
