Alimineti Madhava Reddy Project

Alimineti Madhava Reddy Project earlier known as Srisailam Left Bank Canal is an irrigation project located in Nalgonda district in Telangana, India.[1]

History

It was started in the 60s and was scheduled for completion in 2010 but was delayed again.[2]

Project

It envisages to bring water from Srisailam reservoir to the plains of Nalgonda through two tunnels of a total length of 50.75 km (31.53 mi).
