Ali Wong is an American actress and stand-up comic.[2][3]

Life and career

Wong was born in San Francisco, California, and began her career as stand-up comic. In 2011, she named by Variety to its of list "10 Comics to Watch".[2] She later was cast as series regular in the NBC comedy series, Are You There, Chelsea?, and appeared on Chelsea Lately.[4] She later hosted VH1 television comedy Best Week Ever, and MTV's Hey Girl in 2013.[1] In film, she appeared in Oliver Stone's Savages, as well as Dealin' with Idiots, opposite Jeff Garlin and Gina Gershon.[1]

In 2014, Wong starred as Dr. Lina Lark in the ABC medical drama series, Black Box, opposite Kelly Reilly.[5][6]
