Algorhythm was an album by Australian electronic-synthpop group Boxcar released by Volition Records in Australia in 1994[2] and two years later in 1996 in the United Kingdom and Europe on Pulse 8.

The album spawned three singles: "Universal Hymn" released just before the album in 1993, "What Are You So Happy About?" in 1994 (also featured on the soundtrack to the 1996 Australian film Love and Other Catastrophes)[3][4] and "People Get High" released only in the UK in 1996. It was notably less synthpop-like than its predecessor Vertigo and betrayed the growing influence of trance. However, vocals were retained on most tracks and it featured a guest vocalist, Amanda Brown from The Go-Betweens on "Olive".
