Alex Suber (born December 1, 1985) is a professional Canadian football defensive back for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.[1] He was signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a free agent on June 1, 2010.[2] He played college football at Middle Tennessee State University.

Suber has logged 65 career CFL regular season games and a staggering 254 tackles (almost six per game). Was a key player in the 2011 post-season run to the Grey Cup. Has had no fewer than 60 tackles in any of his four years in the league and six fumble recoveries. Has a remarkable penchant for tackling in the backfield with 15 career tackles for a loss.[3]

Toronto Argonauts

On September 2, 2014, Suber was traded to the Toronto Argonauts in exchange for defensive lineman Thaddeus Gibson.
