Alex Rubens
Alex Rubens is an Emmy Award–nominated American writer.[1] He is best known for his work on Key & Peele and Community.[2] He will co-write the feature length film based on a sketch from the series titled Substitute Teacher with co-writer Rich Talarico who are co-producers on the show.[3]
Life and career
Rubens attended Yale University, where he was a member of the improv-comedy group the Purple Crayon.[4] His writing credits include Community, Key & Peele, Rick and Morty,[5] and Blake Shelton's Not-So-Family Christmas,[6] for which he received a 2014 Writers Guild Award.[7]
