Alex Rance (born 9 October 1989) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by Richmond at pick 18 in the 2007 AFL Draft.[1]
Rance made his AFL debut in 2009 but was involved in a head clash with Brisbane Lions player Troy Selwood in round seven, suffering three small cheekbone fractures.[2]
2013 was a successful year for Rance as he played in every game, including a final.[1]
Rance is the son of former Footscray and West Coast player Murray Rance. Rance is a Jehovah's Witness.[3]
