Alexandra Hope Robotham (born 29 November 1993), professionally known as Alex Hope is an ARIA Award nominated songwriter, producer and musician.
Living in Sydney, Australia, she has worked with a variety of artists including Troye Sivan, Tina Arena, Taylor Henderson, 5 Seconds of Summer, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Timomatic, Nathaniel, Jai Waetford, Karise Eden, Shannon Noll, Brian McFadden, Titanium and Bluejuice.[1] [2]
Career
Alex co-wrote 'Borrow My Heart', which debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified 2x platinum, for runner-up of The X Factor Australia, Taylor Henderson[3][4][5][6] and 'Your Eyes' for Jai Waetford, which peaked at No. 6.
She has four songs on Tina Arena's album, Reset (platinum) including Only Lonely, which peaked at No. 32 on the ARIA Singles Chart after being featured in a commercial for the 2013 finale of 'Home and Away'.[7]
Alex co-wrote the song 'Paper Thin' which placed second in the 2013 'Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition'[8][9]
In December 2013, Alex signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV Publishing.[10]
Alex co-wrote 'When You Were Mine', the first single from Taylor Henderson's second studio album, which debuted at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum.[11]
She also co-wrote 'Fun' on Troye Sivan's debut EP TRXYE.[12]
