Alexander James "Alex" Davey (born 24 November 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Chelsea.
Club career
Chelsea
Davey has been with Chelsea since the Under-eleven age group.[3] Before Davey was sent on his first loan deal to Scunthorpe United he signed a new deal keeping him with the Blues until the end of the 2016 season.[3]
Scunthorpe United (loan)
On 26 November 2014, Davey joined Scunthorpe United on loan until 3 January 2015. He made his debut for the club against Barnsley on 29 November.[4] His loan was extended to 30 June 2015, the end of the season.[5] Davey scored his first goal for the Iron in a 2–2 draw against Chesterfield in the FA Cup 3rd round.[6][7]
