Aleksi Mäkelä (born February 8, 1995) is a Finnish ice hockey defenceman.[1] He currently plays with Ilves of the Finnish SM-liiga. Makela was selected by the Dallas Stars in the 7th round (182nd overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Makela made his SM-liiga debut playing with Ilves during the 2012–13 SM-liiga season.[2]
