Aleksander Kirsebom Salling Sønder (born May 22, 1981) is a Norwegian entrepreneur best known for co-founding the transportation network company Haxi.

Career

Ants

In 2012 Soender launched long distance ridesharing service Ants competing with operators like BlaBlaCar and Carpooling on the European market.[1] Ants is considered one of the big players in Europe.[2]

Haxi

In 2014, Aleksander Soender co-founded Haxi – a controversial[3] transportation network company – along with Joonas Jäskeleinen Kirsebom and Robert Daniel Nagy. Through a webservice and a mobile app, Haxi focuses on connecting people who have a car with people who need transportation.[4]

Since launch, Haxi has grown rapidly and the number of drivers are expected to outnumber the entire Norwegian Taxi force by december 2014.[5][6]
