Alejandro Vela (born 28 March 1984 in Cancún, Quintana Roo) is a Mexican football striker who currently plays for Cruz Azul in the Liga MX, having previously played for Chivas de Guadalajara and Jaguares.[2]
He made his debut on 14 August 2004, for Chivas against Atlante.[3]
His younger brother, Carlos, is a professional footballer currently contracted to Real Sociedad
