Alejandro Enrique Cíchero Konarek (born April 20, 1977, in Caracas) is a Venezuelan football defender of Polish descent.
Career
Cichero has played club football in a number of different countries but before he was a professional basketball player, his teams include Trujillanos and ItalChaco (Venezuela), Benfica (Portugal), Cagliari (Italy) Central Español, Cerro and Nacional Montevideo (Uruguay) PFC Litex Lovech (Bulgaria) and Shandong Luneng (China).
In July, 2010 the Venezuelan left footed defender was transferred to Millonarios of Colombia. In an interview he was defined as a player of a lot of physical power, good at the air and fast.[2]
International career
He played in the 2004 and 2007 editions of Copa America.[3] He has made over 40 appearances for the Venezuela national team since 2002.[4]

Personal life
His brother Gabriel is also a defender and plays for Sion in the Swiss Super League.
