Alberto Zapata (born 28 February 1979 in Panama City) is a professional football forward who currently plays for SD Atlético Nacional of the Liga Nacional de Ascenso, Panama´s second tier level.

International career

Zapata has made 11 appearances for the full Panama national football team, including two qualifying matches for the 2002 FIFA World Cup and four qualifying matches for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.[1] His debut was a friendly against Venezuela on June 21, 2000.[2]
