Alberto Herreros

Alberto Herreros Ros (born April 20, 1969 in Madrid) is a retired Spanish professional basketball player and is considered as one of the best European players. He has played for CB Estudiantes and Real Madrid Baloncesto.

Herreros, height 1.98, was the 1998 FIBA World Championship's top scorer. In EuroBasket 1999, Herreros became again the top scorer of the tournament and reached, along with the Spanish team, the final. In 2005, he made a three-point shot in the last seconds of the final of ACB against Tau Vitoria, that gave the win and the championship to Real Madrid Baloncesto.

He played 19,218 minutes (2nd most) in 654 games (4th most) in the ACB League.[1][2] He is the ACB's all-time leader in points scored (9,759) and 3-point field goalds made (1,233).[3][4]
