Albert Weinert

Albert Weinert American sculptor (June 13, 1863 - November 29, 1947)

Born in Leipzig, Germany, Weinert attended the Royal Academy there and then the École des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Belgium. In 1886 he immigrated to the United States, settling first in San Francisco and then New York City.[1]

Work

He produced the granite dolphins carved on the spandrels behind the bronze groups by Perry 1898 [2]
