Albert Van Zetten (born 12 April 1954)[2] is an Australian politician and the current Mayor of Launceston, Tasmania. He is also the current CEO of City Mission Launceston. He lives in Riverside with his wife Lyndle.[2]

He is well known for his opposition to the Bell Bay Pulp Mill.[3] This runs contradictory to his support for an Eastern bypass, which was to be constructed for the purpose of easing traffic to and from the Pulp Mill, as well as other pro-development notions.
