Albert Noble Rawson (October 1900 – 1949) was an English professional footballer born in West Melton, then in the West Riding of Yorkshire, who played in the Football League for Sheffield United, Birmingham and Barnsley.[1] Rawson, a forward, made his Football League debut with Sheffield United. He joined Birmingham in February 1923, and scored in each of his first five games, making a significant contribution to the club's remaining in the First Division.[2] In 1924 he returned to Yorkshire and signed for Barnsley.[1]
