Post Bridges to Babylon, Sanderson continued to occasionally work for the Rolling Stones as well as on projects for Keith Richards. One such project was a session with Toots Hibbert where the pair recorded the track, "Pressure Drop," at Strate Sounds Studios in San Diego, California.[4] In 2007 Sanderson and DJ Tim Pyles initiated the popular "Pyles Sessions" segment on Pyles San Diego based radio show for FM94/9 KBZT, with bands recording a short live set in the studio for later broadcast. Amongst the artists taking part were Earthless, The Soft Pack and Manual Scan. [5]

On February 13, 2011 Sanderson earned a Grammy for his participation in the recording of the album Hello Hurricane by the musical group Switchfoot. Meanwhile on August 13, 2011 Sanderson was called in to record an impromptu vocal session with Dewey Bunnell of America and David Pack of Ambrosia at the San Diego Hotel, Humphrey's by the Bay[6] In 2012 Sanderson relocated to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to set up a full service creative consultancy business specializing in artist development, production, recording and mixing.
