Alan Cornwall (cricketer)

Alan Edward Cripps Cornwall (12 August 1898 — 26 February 1984) was a English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for Gloucestershire. He was born in Coleford, Gloucestershire (then in the Monmouth registration district), where his father, Alan Whitmore Cornwall was vicar. He was subsequently a house master at Marlborough School, and died in Lustleigh in 1894.
Cornwall made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1920 season, against Leicestershire. From the lower-middle order, he scored 3 runs in the first innings in which he batted, and 2 runs in the second.
