Alan Abela Wadge (born March 15, 1987, in Msida) is a Maltese politician currently a councillor in the Msida Local Council elected on behalf of the Partit Nazzjonalista. Alan is a prominent young politician in Malta and is also Vice-President of Msida Saint-Joseph F.C.. He was educated at the Il-Liceo, Ħamrun and university. In September 2014 Alan Abela Wadge was confirmed by the Partit Nazzjonalista to run for the Maltese General Election. Alan will be the youngest candidate on the 9th District in the General Election.

Abela Wadge's experience is mainly Operations Management. Abela Wadge has over 12 years experience in Management positions and currently holds a senior role in a local company. He is also a graduate in Business Administration and have extensive expertise in sales and event organizing.

Politics

Abela Wadge was elected at first count in the council of Msida (in the interests of the Partit Nazzjonalista) [1] in 2013. Later in the same year Abela Wadge was elected as an executive member of the Collage of Local Councillors (KKLPN). [2] As a local councillor, Abela Wadge managed to build a reputation based on results. Abela Wadge, being assigned the portfolio of Sports & Youths managed to organize various sportive events which were all popular among the local.

Abela Wadge's reputation as a young, forward thinking politician continued to grow and on the 15th of September 2014, Alan Abela Wadge was confirmed by the Partit Nazzjonalista to run for the Next Maltese General Election on behalf of the party.[3] Alan Abela Wadge, currently being at 27 years of age, will be one of the youngest ever candidates to contest the General Election.

Football

Abela Wadge has been a committee member with Msida Saint-Joseph F.C. for 9 years. First joining in season 2004/2005. Abela Wadge held high ranked positions in the club which included Financial Director for 3 years and lately Vice-President for the last 2 seasons.
