State Route 116 is a 9-mile-long (14 km) route in Sumter County in the western part of the state.

Route description

The western terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 17 north of Emelle. The eastern terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 39 at Gainesville. It serves as a connecting route between the northern half of the county and neighboring Greene County. It is a two-lane route for its entirety, and passes through no cities or towns until its terminus.

History

State Route 116 was established in 1963, replacing Sumter County Road 26.
