Al al-Bayt University is one of the public universities in Jordan. It is located in Mafraq city in the Mafraq Governorate, 69 km from Amman.
History
The university opened in October 1994, and was officially inaugurated in March 1995.
Academics
There are seven schools in the university:
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Science
- Faculty of Islamic Jurisprudence and Law
- Faculty of Business Administration
- Faculty of Educational Sciences
- Faculty of Nursing
- Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah College for Information Technology
- Faculty of Arts and Humanities
