Profile

The construction of the skyscraper started in 2005.[1] It was completed in 2011.[1] Designed by architectural firms Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and Callison, it is the tallest building in Kuwait, and the nineteenth tallest building in the world at 412.6 m (1,354 ft).[1] Turner Construction was in charge of the tower's construction.

The tower was included in the list of the best inventions of 2011 by TIME magazine.[2]
