Akko is a Local Government Area of Gombe State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Kumo on the A345 highway south of the state capital Gombe. The town of Akko from which the LGA is named is west of Gombe at 10°17′00″N 10°58′00″E / 10.28333°N 10.96667°E.
The LGA has an area of 2,627 km² and a population of 337,853 at the 2006 census.
