Akka (Tamil: அக்கா) (English: Sister) is a Tamil soap opera on Jaya TV. The show premiered on September 15, 2014. It airs Monday through Friday at 8:30pm.[2] It stars Kausalya and Nithya Das in lead roles. The serial consisted of 143 episodes. The plot consisted of Kausalya searching for her lost sisters, and the serial ended with her death which brought her family back together again. The show last aired on April 9 2015 and ended with 143 episodes.
