Akagi Station (赤城駅 Akagi-eki) is a railway station in Midori, Gunma, Japan, operated by the private railway operators Tobu Railway and Jōmō Electric Railway.

Lines

Akagi Station is served by the Jōmō Line and forms the terminus of the Tōbu Kiryū Line, 20.3 km from Ōta.[1]

The station consists of two island platforms serving four tracks.

History

The station opened on 10 November 1928 as Shin-Ōmama Station (新大間々駅) on the Jōmō Line. The Tobu Railway station opened on 18 March 1932. It was renamed Akagi Station on 1 November 1958.[1]
