Ajayan Venugopalan is an Indian screenwriter,[1] film director. He started his career as a writer/director of the acclaimed Malayalam television sitcom Akkara Kazhchakal.[2] This popular T.V series was followed by a movie based on the show called Akkarakazhchakal: The Movie which he wrote and co-directed with Abi Varghese. His first break into Malayalam films happened as a scriptwriter with the movie English[3] directed by the acclaimed director Shyamaprasad.[4]
