Ajay Thakur
Early life
Ajay Thakur (born 1 May 1986) is a professional international kabaddi player from India.
Thakur was born in Dabhota, a village in the municipality of Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh, India. He was one of the key players of Indian Kabaddi team, that won the Gold medal at the Asian Games in 2014 held at Incheon, Korea . Thakur has over 14 years of experience of playing aggressive kabaddi.
Career
Ajay Thakur has been described as one of the best raiders India has produced.[1] He has represented his employer, Air India, at the Industrial National Championships.[2] His awards and achievements include

- National Games Gold medal 2011
- Industrial National Championship Silver Medal 2013
- Asian indoor and martial arts games kabaddi Gold Medal 2013
- Gold Medal at 2007 Asian Indoor Games.
- Asian Games 2014 held at Incheon Gold medal.
He has currently participated in the pro kabaddi league concluded on 31st Aug 2014 for the franchisee Bengaluru Bulls squad where his team finished 4th and he himself finished 4th at the raider leaderboard with 122 raid points.[3][4]
