Ajay S. Shriram

'Ajay S. Shriram’ born in the family of Indian business man Lala Shri Dhar. Ajay shriram along with his two brothers Vikram Shriram and Ajit Shriram are part of the founder family of DCM Shriram group.[1]

Ajay Shriram is the chairman and senior managing director of DCM Shriram Ltd. and chairman of its subsidiary company, Shriram Bioseed Ventures Ltd.[2] Shriram has been elected as the president of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India's premier business association for the year 2014-15.[3]

Shriram is also the chairman of the governing body of the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and a trustee of SOS Children Villages of India. [4]

Ajay Shriram completed his education at Doon School and Sydenham College in Mumbai. He initially completed a four-month stint with Ina in the US, which also had a joint venture with the Shriram group in India post which he returned to India and started working in family owned sugar mill at Daurala in Uttar Pradesh.

Ajay has two sons Aditya Shriram and Anand Shriram[5]
