Airport Police Division, Singapore Police Force

The Airport Police Division (Abbreviation: APD, Chinese: 机场警区, Malay: Divisyen Polis Lapangan Terbang) is an airport police division of the Singapore Police Force. APD functions as the law enforcement agency, responsible for the maintenance of law and order within its jurisdiction, which encompasses the Singapore Changi Airport and Seletar Airport.

SPF is also the Appropriate Authority for security at the airport. Hence, APD, as the executive arm of the Police within the airport, is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the National Civil Aviation Security Programme under the Air Navigation (Aviation Security) Order, Air Navigation Act. It is to protect the security, regularity and efficiency of international civil aviation in the airport and safeguard against acts of unlawful interference aimed at passengers, personnel, aircraft, airport terminals or aircraft navigation installations and equipment.

In carrying out its roles, APD maintains close relationships with its partners which comprises the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and other government agencies, as well as Changi Airport Group, airline operators, ground handling agencies and other private organisations operating within the airport.

With the airport as a vital installation linking Singapore with the rest of the world, APD strives to fulfil its duties, enabling Changi Airport to retain its accolade as one of the best international airports in the world.

The Airport Police Division is currently headed by its Commander, SAC Zuraidah Abdullah, who is concurrently Air Domain Commander (designate)[1] of the Integrated Checkpoints Command (ICC).
