Playing career

Sezer was born in Bankstown, New South Wales, to a Turkish father Yücel and Aboriginal mother Tanya and is a Muslim.[1] Sezer played his junior football for the East Hills Bulldogs before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He played in the Bulldogs Toyota Cup team for 2 years, scoring over 300 points.[2]

At the end of 2011, Sezer signed with the Gold Coast Titans after a lack of first-grade opportunities at the Bulldogs.
