Aichi At-large district
Aichi At-large district is a constituency of the House of Councillors in the Diet of Japan. It consists of Aichi Prefecture and elects six Councillors, three every three years by single non-transferable vote (SNTV) for six-year terms.
The Councillors currently representing Aichi are:
- Kōhei Ōtsuka (DPJ, no faction; term ends in 2013),
- Seiji Suzuki (LDP, Machimura faction; term ends in 2013),
- Kuniko Tanioka (DPJ, Ozawa group; term ends in 2013),
- Masahito Fujikawa (LDP, Asō faction; term ends in 2016),
- Yoshitaka Saitō (DPJ; term ends in 2016) and
- Misako Yasui (DPJ; term ends in 2016).
