Ahmet Çalık (born Malatya 1958) is a Turkish businessman. He is Chairman of Çalık Holding.[2]

Çalık's professional life began when he established Ortadoğu Tekstil Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. in 1981. As a member of a family that operates in the textile business since the 1930s, he made his first large-scale industrial investment by establishing GAP Güneydoğu Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in Malatya. He made his first international investments in Central Asian countries. Beginning from 1993, Çalık has invested in energy, telecommunications, financial services, construction, media, textiles and trade. He founded Çalık Holding in 1997 with the intention of bringing all group companies together under the same roof.

Çalık was awarded the Turkish State Medal of Distinguished Service in 1999, Turkish Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs Distinguished Service Medal in June 2002, and Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Distinguished Service Prize in 2006.
