Ahmed Nada

Ahmed Nada (Arabic: احمد ندا; born December 6, 1986 in Cairo) is an Egyptian swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events.[1] Nada qualified for the men's 100 m butterfly at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by clearing a FINA B-standard entry time of 54.48 from the Pan Arab Games in Cairo.[2] He challenged seven other swimmers on the second heat, including multiple-time Southeast Asian Games medalist Daniel Bego of Malaysia. He raced to a sixth-place tie with Saudi Arabia's Bader Al-Muhana in 55.59 seconds. Nada failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed sixty-first overall in the preliminaries.[3]
