Agra Ka Daabra

Agra Ka Daabra is a Bollywood drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, and produced by Shoojit Sircar and actor John Abraham. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana in lead roles. It is Khurrana's second collaboration with producers Sircar and Abraham, after his debut film Vicky Donor.^[1]

Production

In April 2012, it was announced that the crew of Vicky Donor was to reload in Hamara Bajaj.^[2] Ayushmann Khurrana will play a character named Sanjay Bajaj, who basically is a tourist guide in the city of Taj Mahal - Agra. At the later stage of the film he struggles to become a filmy actor. Bajaj adopts an easy shortcut to fame and eventually becomes a big Bollywood star enjoying stardom & attraction of the masses. But the shortcut to fame that he adopts costs him a lot in his daily routine life.the makers have finally narrowed down on the title Agra Ka Daabra. Talking about the connection, Ayushmann revealed that his character which was initially named Sanjay Bajaj will now have Daabra as his last name. Also further elaborating on the Agra connection, the actor mentioned that the film will be extensively shot in the city accompanied by a small shooting schedule in Mumbai too. Agra Ka Daabra revolves around a tourist guide who aspires to be a part of the glamorous Bollywood life.

Agra Ka Daabra is slated to go on floor in December. ^[3] The filming locations include Kochi, Bhopal, Lucknow & Delhi.
